Amen to that. Tebow in Foxboro? Bring it on! I still think it's going to be the Bengals though.

The Bus had completely flat tires against the Pats and we were all psyched because the lowly Jags knocked off mighty Denver for us and had to come to Foxboro the following week, where we also whooped them. Things didn't go so well in the SB vs. Greenbay, though. That was a great season, though until it ended with the Parcells debacle.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

I maybe of the minority here but Favre had a great season and deserved a championship that year...unfortunately it was at the hands of the Pats.

But the REAL player of that game was NOT Desmond Howard although the scoreboard said Yes.....It was the late great and one of the best of all times,Reggie White who made life horrid for Bledsoe that game.....White was always one of my favorite DEs and he is missed.

I know...just pointing out the fact that the Denver QB is a bit of a drop off (more like a drop off a cliff) of the two QBs I mentioned who played in Denver,Orton wasn't a great QB out there, but he was better than Tebow.

That was a great game. I recall tailgating and having trouble seeing the other side of our table due to the fog.

i remember seeing the ball for the first 20 yards and then having it go out of site for the next 30 yards only to hear the place explode seconds later after Bledsoe hooked up W Terry Glenn for an early 50 yard reception.

hmmmmm That old stadium seemed so much louder...................... Oooops....hope that doesn't start thread number 4,578 on the noise subject

That really was not a whooping. It was a one possession game until that late fumble return by Otis Smith

As mentioned, the "Fog game" was in '97 ('96 season), where NE beat PIT 28-3 here in Foxborough.

More importantly, remember that dispite whoever wins in the regular season, no team has beat the other in the same yr during the postseason.

In other words, neither PIT nor NE has "swept" the other 2-0 by winning in the postseason after a reg. season victory.

That may bode well for us this yr, if you believe that sort of thing..

I don't believe and that sort of stuff. I do however believe in BB and Tom Brady.
