Ya, that and to build a little continuity with the D.

Now who to sit on the O is a whole different story. For one, I really think we should play for home filed through out.

But if I would sit anyone one, I would let Edleman play instead of Welkah. And more Ocho instead of Branch.

But I think home field through out the playoffs is priority number 1. So I don't know..

Is Andre Johnson a go for next week?

I really think Houston is in trouble. Without Wade and on there 100th string QB and a gimpy Andre. Kinda feel bad for them.

Either way if I am Houston I am playing for the win. Could mean home field againts the the Steelers right?
Pat the Pats Fan likes this.

Just how hard should we try to play PITT and BALT at home instead of HOU at home and BALT away?
The thing i don't understand about this argument is that if you really underestimate HOU, don't you think there's a decent chance of the #6 seed beating HOU? In which case the 2 seed would likely end up playing PITT/BALT and the 1 seed would get the 6 seed.

Also what if PITT/BALT is upset in the first round? Too many question marks there to NOT want the homefield throughout, when in doubt you want the #1 seed instead of likely having to travel to BALT/PITT if you win in round 2.

I am fairly certain that is out because for Houston to finish with the same record as Pittsburgh the Steelers would have to lose - and if the Steelers do lose then they are the #5 seed. Houston as a division winner would have a higher seed (#3), and therefore have home field if they play Pittsburgh.

As for Andre Johnson, that's a tough call. Give him a week off and hope for the best?

I'm with you. A few players getting rest and assuring no injuries sounds great but playing the AFC Championship in Baltimore or Pittsburgh does not. Homefield needs to be locked up, THEN worry about resting players.

The open question is whether Belichick will rest Welker and Branch.

Ya, you are right, thanks.

As to Andre, I am no doctor but I do know, hammy injuries are so unpredictable so I would think it would be best to sit him.

Man, Houston is in a tough spot..

I sure as heck do not want to go to B-more for a playoff game. That is for sure. Pitt I would have a bit more confidence but not much more..

Home field through out is our best shot at making it to the SB IMHO. But who knows..

I'd want them out there personally, unless the game gets out of reach.

I am inclined to go with sitting them. But with BB I think they will play a little, to much on the line.

But if I am not mistaken BB sat Welker for the last game of the year last year?
