Default What happens to Anderson and Carter next year?

I think they are both on 1 year deals? Do they have a place in a 3-4? Or does BB shift completely to 4-3 or some hybrid where they'll be effective and willing to play next year?

Please don't say this is a stinker-ish topic, I think it is a legitimate question.

I'll never understand the fascination with guessing games. I doubt Belichick knows at this point. Likely depends on how the remainder of this season and the post season play out and how the draft shakes out and what options are available to him in FA...and what kind of market his own FA warrant. He will have a full offseason to mull and develop plans and assess players and teach...which he didn't have this offseason.

Kinda like the 4 man line. Would like it if they could sign both of them to 2-3 year deals.

Simple. The Pats offer them below market one year deals, since the Krafts think they can get 35 guys on one year deals. They both leave and the Pats go to there favorite place, the bargain basket and pick up another former good pass rusher. Doubtful he's as productive as Carter, but remember its about value. Plus Bill doesn't need a pass rush, not with the great secondary he's assembled. Oh don't forget Dowling comes back from torn ligaments in his leg. He should be AWESOME next year.

Sign them and use them. I never was an X and O guy, but it seems we use our "base" a lot less than we don't. BB's a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it type IMO". Why make radical changes year to year, develop players that can play multiple fronts.

We will acquire young DL in the future who will play both tackle and end I'm guessing. Don't want to get into radioactive topics, but both Carter and Anderson seem like they can walk and chew gum at the same time, so maybe they are used differently sometime.

Either way, they can play, I think they like it here and I think we like them, so things can work out IMO.

I personally think the 4-3 should stick around. I hope to see both guys back next year.

He doesn't have time to go to parties because his job at the suicide prevention hotline keeps him so busy.

if there's no point about discussing the future, and there's no point in discussing the past, then what shall be discussed? the differencece between maroon and mauve? how about the difference between aqua and teal?

Is your name a short version of darling???

You are aware of course that Green Bay is ranked 31st in pass defense and NOLA is 27th.. notice a trend here?????
