Default Difference Between Sporano and Belichick

This video courtesy of the dolphins 1st TD ...
this is grade school - they deserved to lose thinking they actually accomplished something.

Would Belichick do this on an opening drive?
Would he fire himself if he did?

Sporano ... ... the air-five slap.

Sporano is a JOKE.

I thought this thread was about their post-game pressers.

BB team just won on the road and had control of the game. BB said "we're not a good football team now. We did some things okay, but still need to improve"

Sporano's team got somewhat embarassed at home, and he said "I think we did okay tonight. We have stuff to be optimistic about, like our offense"

LOL. Some of these coaches just don't get it, or are too ignorant to get it. It's called classical conditioning. He's conditioning his players to think it's OKAY TO LOSE.

BB would also say stuff like "Solder played well, Waters at RG, Connelly at Center....." mentioning every players name, showing he knows all the details.

Sporano said stuff like "that kid did this, that guy covered the other guy, the guy on the other team" etc.... showing his lack of attention to detail.

He had one good year coaching in Miami, but I question how much he even knows the game! I give him another year or two before he gets fired.

are you law enforcement?

you see things like, little nuances, that belie a trained eye...

I happen to agree with you except I think he may get the axe a little sooner than that...

Sparano is infamous for his little fist pumps.
I've seen guys on Dolphins forums taking spread bets on the season total.

Here's part of his post game interview:

NFL Videos: Dolphins postgame press conference

Sporano says: "they threw whatever the heck that thing was, down the middle of the field, from the 2 yard line or so".... (referring to Wes Welkers 99 TD reception)

BB could've cited the name of the player, the route the WR ran, the coverage, the significance of how bad it is to give up the longest reception in the history of the NFL. etc..

It also shows Sporano doesnt even know what's going on the very field right infront of him, as he says its from the 2 yard line. It was actually only HALF A YARD away from our goal line. Perhaps his total lack of awareness on field position is a reason why the Dolphins weren't able to punch the ball in and score. They only needed half a yard and were throwing.... with Henne.... when they have one of the best LT's in the NFL to runblock. LOL. It just shows me how much of a dummy Sporano is.

That attention to detail is just one of many things that sets BB apart from high school coaches like Sporano.

I can just imagine Sporano during film study and team meetings. "Okay guy with your hat on backwards, I need you to run around out there away from the DB and catch that thingy majiggy made of pigskin and then run into the endzone, okay?"

I noticed this too. He did crap like that the entire first half, and looked like an idiot doing it.

If we're talking about differences between the two, don't forget to add 3 Lombardi trophies...
