Someone doesn’t like San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman.

More specifically, someone doesn’t like his car.

According to KFMB-TV, someone stole Merriman’s Mercedes and torched it. The car was found on Thursday of last week, without its wheels and rims.

The car reportedly was worth $187,000, but it was fully insured.
Per the report, police are following up on several leads.

Hopefully, the car wasn’t destroyed by someone caught up in a fit of ‘roid raid.

Just sayin’.

Whatever. Randy hurts someone cuticle and it's national news. Randy gets acknowledged for his career and helping children it's national ignored.

I suggest everyone send an e-mail to Florio and politely ask him to post Randy's news from last week - Use Reises' Globe article as the link when you send him the note. I just did it.

If you're going to flaunt it, you have to watch where you park it, etc. Nothing wrong with spending your money on an expensive car, but, depending on where you leave it, somebody is going to walk by and think, geez, that car's worth 10X more than I'll make all of this this year, and he may snap. I remember seeing a car during commute hours a few times, red Mercedes covertible, license plate said 90 G's, or something like that. Hey look, everybody, I spent $90,000 on this car! If ever anyone was asking for it... Park it at night in any shaky part of town and watch it get stripped.
