More from Pepper: he says hardest part of all the new D-linemen is Bill Belichick - the head man has high expectations

HaynesWorth + Wilfork, together, are going to be a Crushing, Mauling FORCE.

I really don't think most fans perceive what a SEISMIC Impact this is going to have on our Defense.

So true, so true. Ocho too.

Their off season has sucked to put it mildly.

Pepper Johnson: Haynesworth is a 'great guy' | CSNNE | Danny Picard

Quote:
“I think he’s excited about being here,” said Johnson. “He’s excited about playing football. He’s one of the best defensive linemen in the league, so I’m quite sure he’s going to make a big difference when we get out on the field.

“He is very unlike a lot of what you read about. I was thinking, 'What am I really going to have to deal with?' I’m coaching whatever player that comes up in here, it doesn’t matter to me. But Albert is a great guy. It’s kind of hard to see some of the things that you hear all negative about him, coming from that person.

“Some of the stuff, you need to know both sides of the story,” added Johnson. “I think Albert is a great person. He’s been trying to work his way out onto the field. He’s been tremendous in the classroom. I’m expecting a lot from him.”

Agree, nor do I check the star rating on a thread before deciding to read it.

I don't even see the stars. I've got them blocked.

Sorry... I showed too much optimism... I'll "keep it real" from now on...

Although I agree with your comment in regards to the D line having not killed a squirrel yet, I AM willing to bet the O-line has killed and eaten numerous examples of several species of small furry animals in just the last two weeks. I mean, just look at 'em!

It's all good. Can't wait to see the starters all in place and view the finished product. Just don't go all Hulkamaniac on us like Off The Grid. He spits on us through our monitors by accident with all his enthusiasm. Actually, I like his posts though, he offers quite a bit to the forum here.

SEISMIC for sure, ifthey are on the move.

Heck, if they just stand still, the ball and running back may still get pulled in their direction by the gravitic distortion of their combined mass It certainly will be interesting to see if they move to an attacking style of defense.

Jets fan, most likely. This is one-star type news to them.
