The idea of cutting Edelman is absolute craziness. He is an unbelievably talented player. We need to find a better fit for him in our offense.

Has anyone but Matt Katula taken snaps as the long snapper?

As for RB, if Kettani is able, I could see the Pats keeping him as the FB and letting Morris go..
Deaderick is being held out of practice for some reason or other.

And Crumpler was the TE cut I meant. Any further TE cut will not be a returning veteran, given that there only are two more returning TE vets and they're both sophomore keepers.

The idea of keeping Tate and cutting Branch strikes me as bizarre -- and yes, I know which of the two would win a footrace.

There is no way that Sometimes Sammy Morris makes the team.

Really? You would cut a second year player showing a lot of promise (as reported) then a veteran on a one year contract whose best years are behind him. Nothing wrong with my vision. My logic and reasoning is pretty good also.

Default Which vets could be surprise cuts?

So while we all debate which bubble guys make the roster and which don't... There's always a surprise on cut day that nobody sees coming.

In the Tate/price/Edelman talk, a few have mentioned Welker or Branch.

My sleeper pick is Mike Wright. Not that I'm saying I think it's likely, just that I think this is more likely than any of th other "locks" being cut.

I have this feeling that Sammy Morris will be cut.
