Apparently it happened during the night practice and looked like a hamstring injury. Bad news is that he did not return to practice, but it doesnt say if he was carted off or anything. Let's hope for the best and that it was just a tweak and he will be back ASAP.

On a related note Dowling was also not practicing tonight (he practiced Tuesday) but was spotted in shorts and t-shirt.

Hopefully they were being careful since it was what his second day of practice.

I was there- I'm not sure it was a hamstring. May be a pulled calf or ankle. It came after he shot the gap on a blocking drill. Don't think it's serious because he was jogging right after. Probably see him again tomorrow.

Thats great to hear. I agree that they are probably being cautious since it was only his second practice, definitely didnt help that it took this long to get his contract signed. Crossing my fingers that youre right and we will have him back within a few days.

But you were there?! Ive been reading good things about him so far but Id also like to direct your attention to this thread. Blogs are nice and all but some perspective from a fellow fan on specific topics we discuss on these forums would be nice.

Wait?? You mean he isn't the second coming of Curtis Martin yet? It's been a whole 2 days now!!

And gasp...there's actually still a chance that K.Faulk still makes the team?? I am completely shocked..Doesn't Bill usually carry only 2-3 RB's because no one ever gets injured? Does this mean that BJGE may see some carries too this yr??

Hopefully, Vareen and any other potential injuries are very slight and unsubstantial this yr. After getting hit with an injury bug of sorts, it'll be nice to have something close to the roster that we all hoped for.

Not great news, but as Psycho reported, he was up moving around/light-jogging etc. Hopefully it's nothing.
