Default The Official “Spyate: Part 2, The Day After" ESPN reaction thread.

Now of course I myself value the ESPN opinion here just as much as anyone else does – I don’t.

But seeing as the main afternoon shows are about to come up (Outside/NFL Live/Rome/ATH/PTI) thought we might as well keep all their reactions in one thread instead of having a thousand different thread about what Jim Rome/Merril Hoge said. No need for 10 "Jim Rome Rants on BB!" threads.

Thank God for Roger Clemens though, eh? This won’t even be the headline story on 3 of those 4 shows today.

Wow, I'm shocked.

OTL mentioned it for 10 seconds quickly during the quick At This Hour quick story flash with the title "Specter wants more info from Goodell"
after the second commerical break and mentioned how he wanted to know "Which games were affected, and if they were compromised".

NFL Live opening segment? Zack Thomas. Second story now? Ocho Cinco.

By the way, both Salisbury and the Schlereth both said they instantly thought of the Pats as for the team Zack will mostly end up with.

That's what I thought of too. He's an older, veteran, excellent linebacker (or at least he used to be, not sure if he still is that great). I really don't know if he's a fit in the 3-4 (not positive, but I think that's why they cut him - because Miami wants to transition to a 3-4). But he sure seems like the kind of LB that BB would want.

I'd love him.

Know we want to get younger, but I can't pass this up.

He may not be the greates fit for the 3-4 but we would be asking him to be a role player and not one of the starting 4. I think we could find a role that fits his skills, size, and our system.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind being on a Super Bowl contender - just gotta hope that his concussion wasn't too serious.

Number of times Jim Rome mentioned = 0

Wow, I really thought the media would eat this up, guess not.

Is it possible even the media is growing tired of the monster they created?

I guess you can only beat a dead horse for so long before the carcass starts to stink.
