ASS.. He wont let this thing die.. Its a shame that its gotten this far, and had to be brought up during one of the best weeks when your team is in the super bowl.. I suggest all Pats fans, bombard him with letters emails and do what it takes to let him know, not just because we are Pats fans and he is making a mockery of the whole Patriots dynasty.. But he is trying to put football on the same stage with that joke baseball and Clemens.. He was near my neighborhood on Monday, but did not know about it .. Would have loved to give it to him personally what I feel.. He is a old fart that just wont give this up, even though Godell said to drop it..

The thing is , and I haven't seen this mentioned explicitely in the media; but he's really calling Goodell a liar, and calling into question Goodell's ethics.

If I was Goodell, I'd be absoletely pissed.
Its one thing to call the Patriots cheaters for videotaping (although even thats overdoign it); its another thing to accuse the NFL Commissioner of being an immorral, unethical liar

And of course, Spector is admitting to being an uneducated homer eagles fan. The patriots did nothing that was against the US law. They did something that was against the NFL rules starting last season. It was not against the rules against the eagles in the superbowl, and it was not against the law, so his whole reason for being angry has no justification.

I see stories in the Globe and Herald headlined "Patriots Taping Since 2000, according to Specter." Nowhere in the stories does it say it wasn't against the rules. I guess I'm being naive to expect that the sports reporters for those papers would point that out.
