Default 16 Rushes, 48 Pass Attempts

There's your story of the game and why Brady was pounded.

You pass and don't even commit to the run then you get predictable.

I was in total shock that they didn't try 3 tight ends or a running formation like in the San Diego game. The Packers lost this way too.

Especially as we were ahead most of the game. I could have seen it if we were behind and felt like we had to score but we led by 4 for a good chunk of the game.

There were only two tightends dressed for the game. Which I thought was a mistake to begin with. I guess that they wanted to keep the Defense fresh. That's why Smith was out there. Surprisingly, Smith and Woods made some decent plays while they were out there. I'm surprised that we didn't see more of them after that.

Maybe Charlie Weis was calling the plays. He always got slammed for giving up on the run too quickly. I guess McDaniels learned from his mentor.

Losing Faulk severely hurt the run game's effectiveness.

Though I agree that the entire game was called like the Pats were down 2 scores.

Losing Faulk?

He came back... remember when he almost scored before moss eventually did?

Not committing to the ryan was the issue.

run game effectiveness? Maroney was the dominant runner last few weeks. Run game wasnt working before Faulk got hurt in what 3rd quarter?

its simple..OL didnt run block nor did they pass block. young skipper calling the plays just went into PANIC MODE and passed non stop.

i'd love to see how many passes vs runs in the 3rd quarter and the fourth quarter.

i think they ran once in the 4th quarter.

And I'm pretty sure it went for 9 yards...

One or two runs when we got to the 6 would have been nice ...
