it is no long considered to be a secret because everybody knows about it. I'm suprised not many Pats players know him. BB can't do it along and here is another 'secret'.

I haven't read the article yet - heading over now - but my favorite part of the Belichick books (Education of a Coach I think, could have been Patriot Reign I guess) was when Belichick's dad slipped to a side room at halftime of SB 39 to not be in the way, only to have Belichick and Adams show up for a highly technical halftime talk. It must have been quite the moment for Steve to see his son and friend since they were teenagers having talking at the top of the profession in the biggest game of the profession. I bet he had flashbacks to when they were 16 years old.

I'd love to meet Ernie Adams. He's like the mad scientist behind the scenes. I wish this article hadn't been written though, it was way cooler when only die hard Pats fans knew about him.

This is hands-down the most important and insightful article I have read this year concerning the New England Patriots.

Everyone needs to read this piece. It would make an unbelievable movie script.

Ernie Adams is one of the most mysterious and intriguing individuals not only in football, but perhaps anywhere. Reminiscent of D.B. Cooper, Mark Felt or J.D. Salinger.
