Default SB 42 may be hazardous to your health

For fans of the New York Giants and New England Patriots, this Sunday's Super Bowl won't be just a game. It may be a health hazard.

I certainly agree that Americans don't get as worked up over our football as Europeans do over theirs, and thank god for that.

When it comes to sports, people do tend to lose all perspective. And it's not just a problem with Europe and soccer, it happens here as well.

I realize that it's not exactly what the article is about, but my two cents:

A ton of stories came out of Green Bay during these playoffs about idiot fans (the guy who tied his kid to a chair, the parents who abandoned their kid in a room with tuna fish and a bucket while they went to watch the game, the guy who snapped and shot a random woman with a sniper rifle). Granted, these are isolated incidents but there are those people who go way too far with it.

I'm sure we'll read some stories next week about Pats fans getting beaten up in bars in New York (and the other way around), and it's sad. Just points out that some people are big idiots.

Everyone should remember that it's just a game. It's supposed to be fun. Don't kill yourself (or anyone else) over it.

Uh oh. Now the Government is worried about our health watching sports. Whats next? Warning us from watching suspense movies?

Update: Well that didn't work out as I had planned. Next year baby, next year 19-0 we go. Next year.

Take it from someone who was at the World Cup mentioned in that article - A boiling hot month of booze, drugs, (not) sleeping in car parks and easy women from around the world probably had far more effect on our health than anything else. Sure, everyone liked to scream and shout a bit during the games but you guys seem pretty big on that too.

Besides which, Plaxico is the only person in the world who's gonna be surprised come Sunday

What does this have to do with the government? This was a private study.

That's why it's important to wear a hat made out of tinfoil while watching CNN.

Nah, tinfoil is actually used to shield yourself from killer light-bright boards.
