I have his latest album, and have to say it's VERY good. I agree, old standards will go over better, but if you haven't heard "Highway Companion" well, don't knock it till you've tried it.

Maybe it's cause I'm older than you, but (obviously from previous post) I'm a fan and think he'll be good. Not U2, but good.
