When Synder hired an OC without having a HC and then said that no announcement on HC would be made until next week, the first thought that occurred to me was that he was waiting to talk to someone involved in the this game.

Would be a disappointment, certainly, but I'm not too worried. Maybe this would result in BB just naming Brady OC.

I think he made his statement not expecting the Redskins job to be open until next season. I think he'd be wise to at least be interviewed.

Well yeah he did ....some weeks back. Not just Redskins but any team.
This reporter is just assuming something that isn't there.

Actually, IIRC, what he said at the time was that he was focused on preparing for the run for the Super Bowl. I don't remember him ever explicitly saying, "I am going to be the OC for the Pats next year."

That said, I really don't see him wanting to leave just yet; if he isn't having fun, I can think of a few thousand people who'd be willing to "suffer" through his job for him.

I'd really like to know what McDaniels really said. I don't trust any of these media parasites. They always put words in people's mouths. When I hear Josh say it, then I'll believe it. It's going to be an interesting offseason.

Freaking Snyder and his Washington team. The CNBC special about Kraft and the Patriots said that the Patriots were the third most valuable NFL team (not sure how calculated, revenues and profits probably though) behind the Redskins and the Cowboys. Blind luck as far as I am concerned, with the Redskins.
