Brady confirmed he was injured in the 3rd quarter. He went 8-for-8 with a TD in the 4th quarter. He is certainly not more injured now than he was in the 4th quarter. If Brady goes 8-for-8 at any point in the SB, the Giants can start reviewing Senior Bowl tape and making travel plans to the Combine.

For those that say his throws were off in the 4th quarter, he was scatter-armed the whole game. I really believe he was sick during the game and that had a bigger effect than the injured ankle.

Give the guy a break! Pal Salantonio has failed miserably as a Football Commentator and is now trying his hand at Orthopedic medicine.

Just curious, not trying to prove his ankle was the cause of the interception. What was the pressure like on that interception? I would think that if he sacked him on the previous play, that they pressured him again to where the interception was a result of that pressure, rather than Brady not making a good throw because of his ankle.

I've often said that the media's attitude to their jobs is generally, "it's all about me." Well reportedly amongst the media this applies more to Sal P than most. This kind of report is typical of his arrogance and need to feel self important. Clearly he is trying to CREATE a story, as well as the impression that he's getting 'the story' that no one else has. In other words this is, "all about him".

BTW- his arrogance makes him almost universally unloved by even his fellow

That INT was the result of a tip by the receiver. I wouldn't tie it to the ankle. He was in the Shotgun and took his normal footwork. He didn't appear to be in distress, like Rivers was (pronounced limp the entire game)

I thought I had to start laying off the sauce, because I thought he was walking gingerly off the plane too, and then I see all these folks saying he wasn't.

Phew, I don't have to lay off the sauce.

Let's face it, Brady is injured, and while that can't be good, they'll shoot him up, tape him up, and say on Sunday - "give us 4 hours Tommy".

TB had his head down looking carefully at each step as he got off the plane, not at all like an athlete normally does with his head up casually looking around as they descend. TB also had an akward stride or two as he got off the stairs and stepped on to the tarmack. Gingerly, seems about right...

Also, when TB went down the little set of stairs after the rally in Foxboro, he was the only one who put both hands on the railings to steady himself even though it was just 5-6 steps - not the actions of someone feeling nimble.

If you try hard enough you can "see" anything you want to.

He came off the ass end of the plane, with a nasty dropoff they were assisting each player on as the exited the plane. The stairs were wet. He opted to jog down them and didn't even bother to hand hold the railing. Everyone struggled with that last step, as they did with the step off the bus at the hotel - I think they were tring to avoid an unexpected Scottsdale puddle in each case...

Coming off the stage in Foxboro if he didn't have a hand if not both on the railing he'd be an idiot. There was a half inch of snow on those wooden steps...

This board is kind of strange at times.

Tom Brady sustained an ankle injury in the San Diego game and was seen the next day in a walking boot. He did not practice for two days because of the injury. He's admitted the ankle is not 100 percent.

On what planet is this not a major story?

The reality is that notwithstanding all the amature M.D.s who can diagnose a guy based on how he walks, we really don't know the extent of the injury and unlikely will not before the game. But it's the media's job (perhaps obligation) to follow the story up.

Like all of you, I want very badly for it not to affect him, and hope that it won't. It's no reason to pretend it's not a story, though, or to act like people are silly for being somewhat concerned.

You mean like ESPN with a red "Breaking News" ticker announcement yesterdau morning that the Boston Herald reports Tom Brady seen walking with a slight limp by his home.

Yeah, that's not silly.

Mars. Jupiter. Pluto had some pretty hard-core fans until they revoked it's planet status. Ceti Alpha 5 had a group of genetically engineered humans that were big Pats fans...until Ceti Alpha 6 blew up and turned 5 into a wasteland.
