Thumbs up Make the AFC Proud (even more so)

Nothing better than a team representing our conference than one that is undefeated. Congratulations on your 4th trip to the Super Bowl (this decade) and I am quite confident that your boys are going to finish the deal and go down as THE best team NFL team ever assembled. 4 rings in 7 years is almost as good as 4 rings in 6 years by my boys....HOWEVER a perfect 19-0 will cap that 4th ring making it shine even brighter than the Steelers 4th. All I can saw is AWESOME and well deserved. I (and the rest of the NFL world) are probably more confident about you winning XLII than you Pat's fans are. Believe me, I know, as I remember very well how I felt before each and every Steelers super bowl win, no matter how much we were favored. But it is a great nervousness.... Enjoy the 2 week anticipation for you will remember this 2007 Pat's team and the Patriots, the team of the 00 decade for the rest of your lives.

Thanks. Appreciate the sentiment. Good luck to Steelers for next year. Too bad Parker got injured otherwise you guys could have made it further....

I know we are not loved out in Steel country, I know that. But for you to come onto our board and give us this great post means alot. Thanks from all Pats fans, You could have been like alot of other NFL fans who want to bury their jealous heads in the sand and not acknowledge anything this team has done, I tip my hat to you and with the nice Arizona weather, look for the Pats offense to get completely back on track, and for the points to be put up like a pinball machine.

You should be proud of your men in black and gold, you have a great future with Big Ben.

To be honest, my least favorite team USED to be the Steelers. I really disliked Cowher. Actually I still dislike Cowher as an announcer.

But when he left my feelings went with him. I like Big Ben -- I guess he wasn't a big fan of Cowher either. Big Ben is a very good QB with a lot of heart, and I sense a very good guy.

So anyway, I know we are not liked in Steeler country, but words such as yours really bridge the gap.

P.S. - I always root for the AFC team in the SB as well. My only exception is the Colts, actually the only team in the NFL that I dislike right now.

steeler fans might get picked on a little by some pats fans, and there's probably a lot of pissing between fans of the 2 teams, but I always had a lot of respect for the steelers........well, except this year.
when everyone was writing you guys off against indy a couple years ago, I had faith you'd come out on top, and was rooting for you to take the superbowl if the pats couldn't make it.

that's a pro organization, and I don't think it would take much to put you guys back in the upper echelon next year.

thx for the well wishes and we always have more room on the bandwagon if anyone wants to help root them on.
I'm actually feeling kind of bad for eli -- people would rather root for the evil empire.
