The Bills played a decent game that day but they made a major error if I remember right. Hostetler killed them especially on 3rd downs...he ran a bit also.

Giants quarterback Jeff Hostetler kept the long drive going by converting three third-down plays – an 11-yard pass to running back David Meggett on third-and-eight, a 14-yard toss to wide receiver Mark Ingram on third-and-13, and a 9-yard pass to Howard Cross on third-and-four-to give New York a 17-12 lead in the third quarter.
Buffalo jumped to a 12-3 lead midway through the second quarter before Hostetler completed a 14-yard scoring strike to wide receiver Stephen Baker to close the score to 12-10 at halftime.

Buffalo's Thurman Thomas ran 31 yards for a touchdown on the opening play of the fourth quarter to help Buffalo recapture the lead 19-17. Matt Bahr's 21-yard field goal gave the Giants a 20-19 lead, but Buffalo's Scott Norwood had a chance to win the game with seconds remaining before his 47-yard field-goal attempt sailed wide right.
Hostetler completed 20 of 32 passes for 222 yards and one touchdown. Anderson rushed 21 times for 102 yards and a touchdown to capture most-valuable-player honors.

Thomas totaled 190 scrimmage yards, rushing 15 times for 135 yards and catching five passes for 55 yards.

Something tells me neither coach is going to be reviewing film from SB 25 in preparing for this game.

But there was this game a few weeks back, in which at one point the Patriots were trailing by 12 points. If the Giants play as well as that team did in the first half we could be in trouble.

Giants beat a better team on the road yesterday than we beat at home to get in the Super Bowl. Think about that

I'd much rather be at home against a gimpy Rivers and Gates, without LT, than be on the road in Green Bay against a healthy Favre. If you don't see that you no nothing about football

Wow, you waited all of 5 hours to start worring about something new. The Giants beat a team that also lost twice to the Bears this year. Think about that!

Wow. You've lost it. I said this in another thread, but here goes:

Packers kept Giants scoring drive alive with third-down penalties, including a boneheaded roughing the passer play.
Packers missed two chances to recover a fumble at the end of regulation.
Packers threw an awful interception in overtime.

I, for one, was begging for the Pack to win because I knew the Pats would score at will against them. I don't know how you can say they were better than San Diego. Do you believe the Chargers would lose to the Packers?

Listen, if you want to convince yourself that the Patriots will lose, have fun. Scream it from the mountaintops. But from now on you can avoid sharing.

1. I have forgotten more football than you know.

2. I KNOW that KNOW is not spelled NO.

A healthy Favre still throws stupid picks. Manning wasn't pressured. Relax.
