Clearly there is a level of interest based on the previous responses. If you don't care, ignore it.

Bill probably told him to get off the field; no need to field questions from the Michelle Tafoyas of the world when there's a more important game to focus on next week. Randy's been vindicated in everyone but the media's eyes, but there's no need for that distraction.

Great point. It never occurred to me that Bill would tell Randy he did not have to stay on the field if he was uncomfortable. I can see Belichick saying that.

Yes, I agree with this. He has said, the last thing he wanted was for this thing to come in the way of his teammates and Randy took it upon himself to completely avoid the media after the game for just that reason. He knew the questions "not related to the game" would come and he didn't want that for the team.

I agree with your way of looking at it. I don't know what this guy has to do to get people off his back, people are just waiting for the other shoe to drop.get a life, enjoy the win. we are afc champs going to the super bowl

I'll tell you one thing: I am looking forward to a warm weather game where the Pats can fire up the passing game and Randy can go for a vintage 11 for 156 and 2 TD performance............that will cheer him up if he is a little down right now.

A point was probably made to avoid the media vultures. There is no incentive for Randy to talk much else at this point, as more details about the catastrophic finger injury come out, he's got nothing else to prove in his own defense, at least to the media.

I hope he just plays it cool the next two weeks and repeats his week 17 performance.
