The Red Zone D was last in the NFL much of the year and today they played great. Quite the turnaround. In these games that have been close this year it seems different guys and different things seem to step up and really help win the game. At midseason I wouldn't have thought that the run game and the red zone D would helpwin the AFCCG as much as they did today.

While it's natural to think about the injuries as holding you back, Chargers fans need to remind themselves that injuries and stamina wouldn't have mattered nearly as much if they had won more in the regular season and earned a bye.

We learned that lesson last year.
