There was also this article on Dykes from that same newspaper. Apparently his alma mater doesn't abide by the theory of forgive and forget for Dykes being honest 25 years ago.

I recall (perhaps inaccurately in detail) that Dykes & Frayer got into an early morning incident in Providence RI outside a gentleman's club where I believe firearms were displayed.

The part in that story about OSU paying him $5,000 is inaccurate. I remember because I lived in Houston at the time. He left off a zero.

BTW, he was also a terrific b-ball player. Could have played at any D-1 school.
