Why do the chargers talk so much trash when they have won nothing ?

Now LT is trying to back peddle but no one is buying it

How do you as Charger fans defend it or do you ?

This is not a knock but im real curious as to the motivation or is Chris Carter right they are immature.

That kind of defines the immaturity people talk about. The Chargers are loaded with talent, but they aren't as loaded with brains.

Oh here we go...............

The only thing that can even be considered as trash talk were Olshansky's comments after the game sunday. They were pretty harmless. It is a football game. People take this too seriously. I don't understand it. It's fun. It's two teams playing football.

Trash talk has nothing to do with having won or not. Most NFL teams have guys that talk during the game.

Talking during the game is completely different. Please find me 1 other team that talks and acts like the Chargers.

This stuff is old news. Why do you even care?

10 years ago people don't talk about trash talking... they talk about football. But I suppose in this world of crotch shots and an endless barrage of cameras, this is what football has become. And as long as people keep talking about it, ESPN, CBS, etc. will have every incentive to show you even more incidents of trash talking.

I posit that the amount of trash talking by all teams and all kinds of players have not changed much in football. It's just that for some strange reason people are paying attention to it more. I'd rather be talking about football. But that's just me.

No it's not. It's the same whether you do it before, during, or after the game. Players have 2 primary reasons to do it. One is to get themselves worked up for the game and the other is to get under the other player's skin. Any advantage you can take, you take it. But obviously it's not all players... they have their own weird rituals from wearing the same jock strap to calling their mommies before each game to whatever.

It's just so stupid that this is what we're wasting our energy on.

It's not old news every sports outlet is talking about it,so I guess Chargers fans ignore and hopes it goes away..

After all, didn't LaDainian Tomlinson make the whole "Patriots Don't Have My Class" a front and center topic after last year's playoff game?

What would constitute talking and acting like the Chargers? I don't really sit around watching other teams press conferences, but from what I've seen of the Chargers press conferences, it's just a bunch boring small talk - "The Patriots are good, The Patriots are the best team in the NFL, Lets get it on, yadda, yadda, yadda......"
