23 comp picks were given out but none for our Patriots. This also means that picks in the 4th,5th, & 6th rounds will change and be lower.

CT - While you have been "saying this for awhile", it doesn't mean the Pats weren't hosed.

Ben Watson was signed for $4 million a year. Look at Watson's production in Cleveland.

68 Receptions - 763 Yards, 3 TDs.

Alge Crumpler was signed for under $2 million a year. Compare that to Crumpler's production:

6 Receptions - 52 Yards- 2 TDs

How anyone can say that the two were comparable and off-setting is just lunacy.

I never said it was fair. All I've been saying is that the way the formula has historical been applied, the best they could hope for was a late comp 7.

you can't compare stats and contract money between a FA you lose and one you sign, because for comp picks you only get comp picks when you lose more FAs than you sign
