This is pretty consistent with the Pats' D all year. The surprising aspect is how well some teams have been able to step up and execute for 40-50 minutes of the game, using parts of their offense that aren't used to carrying the load. I'm sure the Pats will challenge Rivers to stand in the pocket and deliver downfield. He has done fine with that recently, so it will be interesting to see if his hot streak can continue.

I agree, as I said in a way originally, that the PATS gameplan was straightforward against Jax: their running game was to be stopped and JAx passing game was to beat us since it wasn't expected to do much (but did). So, that points to the fact that the PATS defensive gameplan against the Colts would of been the most difficult due to their balanced offense and the dynamic passing game of Manning (checkdowns / vertical / slants / etc..). So, do you think the PATS defense were a little bit more relieved to gameplan against SD instead of the Colts?
