Default Wake me when it's over. March Madness

NHL and NBA playoffs for your local winter sports teams. Both with chances to go a long way. One of the most anticipated Red Sox season since they won it all in 04. We're still going to have the NFL Draft.


I'm not wasting an ounce of energy discussing or reading about this crap. How can we rationally discuss a matter that's either, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55 , 56, 57, 58, 59 or 60pct. WTF??? As long as it's settled by July 4th, it's not going to affect the season too much. Players can work out on their own.

While I am definitely following the headlines on this mess, I am not really bothered by it, and like you I figure it's not worth worrying about unless we get closer to training camp season and it's still not resolved. And while I generally feel the owners are the "bad guys", I recognize the players deserve a share of the blame to. Either way, I'm certainly not about to get into arguments with anyone about it. Discuss it, maybe.

I'm with you ... every year my focus is March Madness and then the local NBA and NHL scene. Also a bit of interest in the Red Sox but not much until the season begins - hate spring training - boring. I could care less about the labor issue as it will be resolved ... they may be greedy but they are not stupid - business is ugly - this goes on everyday.

Have been lucky enough to avoid this whole depressing nfl situation by attending the Big East Womens competition in Hartford and the Mens Big East in NY. To top it off our local Huskies men and womens teams walked away champions. Good for a weeks distraction. But back on the net after a week away it appears the NFL, NFLPA P***ing and spitting match has only escalated. At least we have the NCAA tounament to help get us through the next few weeks. Am considering canceling the NFL network package out of protest to the situation.

I do a bracket at work, and that's the extent of my caring about the NCAA. NHL all the way!

The Patriots are not only football to me, they are pretty much sports. Outside of the Patriots I don't have any strong sports following.

Same with me, although I'll watch pretty much any NFL game/combination of teams. I'll watch the Bruins and Celts if they get far into the playoffs, but can't bring myself to tolerate baseball anymore. I do enjoy the Olympics. I wish there was another sport I could feel passionate about when the NFL is not playing.
