definitely doesn't have Barry Bonds playoff syndrome.

He's going to have a huge game.

Right, he's not been a Bonds or an A-Rod no-show.

He also knows that you have to play the full 60 minutes, given that his team lost that playoff in '98 to the Falcons. He's had plenty of years to sleep on the difference between a great regular season and finishing.

As such, I can see why he's considered to be a leader. He must have perspective that no rookie could have. Been there, done that losing thing, let's not get carried away with previous success ....... amen.

Barry Bonds career postseason:

.245 AVG / .433 OBP / .503 SLG

Manny Ramirez:

.269 / .376 / .513

Bonds adjusted OPS: 1.28
Manny: 1.18

clear edge: Bonds, whose playoff performance history is very, very good

no, but OBP is more important, combined with SLG

baseball sucks.

it is nice to see that randy is nicely motivated and puts up in the playoffs. we now have two grizzled veterans (randy and seau) who care about nothing else but winning the big one.

His ridiculous, nintendo like 2002 playoff numbers inflated his overall playoff stats. But hey, I guess thats a credit to him and after 2002 I think he kinda shed the whole playoff bug.
