He deserves it, most teams would struggle to be .500 in "rebuilding" seasons. He's just amazing.

I think Raheem Morris had less to work with and deserves it as well

At least Belichick had Brady and Wilfork...Tampa Bay is the youngest team in the NFL and Morris did a phenomenal job like Belichick did with a slightly less younger group

He also played worse teams, TB was 1-5 against teams with winning records. I think he did a good job also, especially with what he had, but again. BB played how many playoff teams this year and won. lol

Hopefully it's BB. I would love for the person who deceived the commissioner to win an award before the Super Bowl!

It's a tough call; you could make a compelling case for multiple coaches - especially Morris and Belichick. The three Mikes - Smith, Tomlin, McCarthy - are all very worthy of consideration too. But if Todd Haley gets it as some are suggesting I'll puke.

Two things working against Morris: the Bucs did not make the playoffs, and until the final week of the season in a meaningless game for the Saints, they did not beat a team with a winning record. On the other hand the Pats, a team most expected to be about 9-7, beat what was it, 6 or 7 teams with winning records - including all four playing for the conference championship - despite having a very large number of key players on IR.

Default BB Wins AP Coach of the Year!

Bill Belichick wins AP Coach of the year!
Just saw via NFL Network.

He won by a landslide.

Voting results:

Bill Belichick 30
Raheem Morris 11.5
Todd Haley 4.5
Mike Smith 1
Andy Reid 1
Lovie Smith 1
Steve Spagnuolo 1

Congrats!

I am reading via twitter many fans wanted Morris to come away with it but nonetheless, BB deserved it. I think people would be upset nonetheless if BB didn't get it and Morris did, anyway congrats again BB!
