One thing that I really wonder about is why Ray would like to teach his successful methods with a guy that is on another team..I would think Ray would discuss ways to being a top star with his own clubs young LBs but it seems in his last years he wants to set an example for the stars of the future to listen and learn.

I really think there is more of a fraternity feel to the players than we think in a lot of cases. The news tends to focus on the juicy stories, which is players hating each other, trash talk, etc, but these guys are all part of the same union. And with players switching teams all the time, I think it would be hard to only like the guys on your own team. When you like a guy, you help him out, regardless of whether you're competing or not.
Look at Brady and Manning. From all reports they have a great off field relationship, and wish each other well. It would be naive to think they don't occasionally swap advice, and they're two of the biggest rivals in recent NFL history.
