i agree if tennesse wins aganist the chargers..
it would be a easy win for us, although i dont like the dirty play of tens players, and we would still most likley face indy in the next game, i dont think jax can beat indy at any cost.

... if the Titans beat the Chargers, then the Pats face the Titans in the next round. That sets up the possibility of the Patriots paying Jacksonville in the AFCCG, if Jax can pull of the upset against Indy.
And if all that happens (not sure how likely it all is), then if the Patriots make it to the Super Bowl, they will have beaten all 5 of the other AFC playoff teams, either in the regular season, or in the playoffs. I think that would be pretty cool.
Meh, if the Squeelers had better coaching the Jags would have been eliminated today. They're not too scary to me.

I really could care less who we face, they(Pats) still have to show up and play. With that said, I'm going for the Titans today because Merriman told Bullock after their first game to enjoy watching the Chargers in the playoffs from his couch. That pissed me off and I could care less about the Titans until I heard that...

no offense to anyone in this thread.. but i've had enough of the "i wanna play th e best teams" or "i want indy, no excuses!".
I want the easiest damn route possible. so i want Tennessee, Jacksonvillle, and then the Buccs.
(even though Lord Favre would definitely choke)
i hear ya man, who wants all of that other filler stuff. 19 - 0 is special enough

Personally, I am in the camp that I don't care who we face because I feel the Pats can beat anyone.
I actually don't know if I want to face the Titans more than anyone else though. In fact, I prefer not to face them. I think they are the weakest AFC team left, but they are a physical team known for taking cheap shots and blocking at the knees. I am more afraid about getting out a division round healthy vs. the Titans than the Jags.
If I was to make a choice of the "easiest" path through the AFC, it might actually be Jags this upcoming Saturday and the Chargers the following weekend. Don't forget the Chargers will have faced two physical teams (with what is bound to be a very dirty battle with the Titans after their first meeting), then they will have to travel a couple thousand miles to play in Indy, come home, and then travel across the country to play the Pats. They will have a similiar schedule as the Pats last year and we saw what that did to the Pats in the second half of the AFC Championships.
I didn't see anything from the Jags last night that made me think the Pats can't beat them. In fact, after watching the game, I think I am more confident the Pats can beat the Jags.
I am also in the "I don't really care who we play", that being said, I wouldn't mind the pats beating the colts in the AFCCG.
The Jags can't beat the colts.. They have been dominated by the colts over the last few years. Every year it's "But the jags are better this year" and every year the colts spank them down.
