Im from Canada, and Id be making the trip down next year with my dad and brother to see a game

what do I need to do to get tickets. obiviously they are in high demand and will be expensive but Im refering to the process its self

should I sign up and buy directly from patriots.com or tickethub or ebay? For such a simple task it really is a process

where from canada are you? The ontario area, niagra falls? If so I suggest going to the bills-pats game in buffalo. Shouldnt be impossible to get tickets if you're ready at sale time.

I am not positive but I have heard the Pats play both the Raiders and 49ers in the Bay Area. I can say that Oakland never sales out and 49ers do but not until the week before generally. If you purchase from Ticketmaster on the week they go on sale, you should have your choice for seats. With the Patriots playing, they will be harder to get than a normal seat for one of their typ. games.

Airfare may be cancelled out by paying face (35-50 for upper tier) as opposed to paying a scalper in Boston 200 for the same seat.

Tickets for preseason are normally available at face value. As far as regular season as you know they are in high demand some opponents more than others.

fly to Boston. See the city, enjoy good food, and see pats the next day and fly back home afterward.

If you spend $100 and get 1 seat on the waiting list it will give you access to the Patriots ticketexchange where you can buy tickets from season ticket holders for face value. You have to keep checking the website and they go fast buy usually right before game day you can score some tickets.

The first year obviously you will be paying face value + $100 but that is still cheaper than brokers in many cases and it pays for itself after a couple games.

Another Nova Scotian here who flew down to see the Patriots this season. We went in September, flew out of Halifax on a Friday afternoon, saw the Red Sox on Saturday, the Patriots Sunday night against San Diego and flew home on Monday morning. We got our tickets from StubHub. They were not cheap given that the Red Sox played the Yankees that weekend, and it was the home opener versus San Diego for the Patriots but it did the job.

I found with Stub Hub you essentially get what you pay for. If you are willing to go Standing Room only or up in the top corner it wasn't terribly expensive for the Patriots, however when you got into the 100's it was obviously quite costly. We splurged a bit and were in S. 121 and actually had our seats upgraded a few rows when we received the tickets. We had not thought of joining the waiting list for the exchange, but that may be a better idea for you than an outfit like StubHub because while we had no problems, the tickets arrived on time, and were exactly what we asked for, they were pretty expensive.

Good luck in whatever you decide!

that sounds perfect to me. all I want is a simple effective way of getting what I pay for. Considering this will be a first time trip to an NFL game money will be spent pretty loosely. Id be willing to spend over $100 per seat. it is after all a once in a life time thing for me and my family
