Listening to Bob Ryan this morning on Sports Talk, and they were discussing the formula to this team's success, along with Brady's low interception ratio.. BJGE has never fumbled in the NFL. Then they were talking about how he claims he never fumbled in College or High School, can verify the stats at Indiana and Mississippi, but not able to verify what he did at St. Augustine's in New Orleans..

Not a huge fan of meaningles stats, but this intrigued me as to have never fumbled is pretty incredible.. hope this post does not jinx him, guilt or anticipation thereof is a terrible burden.

Consider

Indiana 456 Rushes no Fumbles
Mississippi 464 Rushes no Fumbles
Patriots 290 Rushes no Fumbles, 15 receptions no fumbles..

He also claims, according to Ryan and his co host, to have never fumbled in High School.. if so that is off the charts...

Guy's a JAG. Culd replace him with any runner off the street any time in season. It's all the O-Line. He'll be gone next year. Over-rated. Brady can make any Running back look good. As soon as FT is healthy, BJGE is a healthy scratch.

Ok, I think I covered most of the asinine comments of earlier in the year, saved some of the clingers some time.

Love Benny and can't wait to see him tear it up in Buffalo on Sunday.

Did some internet searching according to Travis Prentice wiki page he holds the college record for most consecutive attempts without a fumble at 862.

So it is quite possible that is the old record and BJGE broke that with 926.

It is possible (but I can't verfiy that) Freeman McNeil holds the NFL record for most consecutive carriers w/o a fumble.

McNeil's consecutive rushing attempts with no fumbles is unbelievable. I hope BJGE can have that kind of success in that area.

BJGE's claim seems a bit dubious to me (no fumbles in a game going all the way back to HS), but he definitely rocks. I remember all the Maroney/BJGE debates late last year and early this year.

... but I definetely don't want to rehash those debates, especially since it has now been proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that BJGE is the real deal and Maroney is a glass ballerina with no future in the NFL.
