nice that they didn't turn it over much this year.....but in 2 weeks....who cares?

I care quite a bit, as does BB. Turnovers are one of, if not the most significant factor in wins.
Since 2001, the Patriots are 91-3 when winning the turnover battle, including 9-0 this season.
Here's what our head coach had to say about turnovers:
Quote:

“I hope it’s in the front of their minds. I hope it’s not in the back of their minds; I hope it’s right up front,’’ he said. “There is nothing more important than taking care of the ball, no matter who has it — whether you snap it, hold it, kick it, pass it, catch it, run with it. It doesn’t make any difference. If you handle the ball it’s a critical job for your team and we emphasize that every week. That’s our No. 1 thing offensively and in the kicking game, and that is to take care of the football when you possess it, so nothing comes before that. That’s a weekly goal.’’

According to BB, there is nothing more important than taking care of the ball. And we did that with record efficiency this year. That means a lot.
