Yes, if it was a jury trial, a hung jury or jury nullification would be an issue because no way 12 citizens would vote to convict.
Pats achieve all kinds of historic goals and the little dweeb tries to make HIMSELF the story. No wonder DeOssie & Smerlas hate the fool.
