Or even Garrard over Roethlisberger. The dude came back from freaking CRONES disease... wins the starting QB battle in camp, and has played smart tough football all season. He should have edged out Rottenburger for the QB3 spot.

But Roethlisberger has more statistics that makes him more deserving!

Yrds and TD's arent the only two statistics counted bro...

Garrard has the better QB rating, has only thrown TWO picks all season, and out played ben in their (crucial) head to head match up in ****ty conditions (on the road).

I'd go with Roethisberger if only because that Steelers O-line has been bad all year. 2nd in the league in sacks and Big Ben shakes off like 4 more a game.

While I have been publicly calling for that #1 pick to be used on a dominant tackle prospect, I still don't understand why people insist on underrating Matt Light. He's a quality player.

If the statistics are identical I think it does. Playing on a winning team means important play, while playing on a loser could mean garbage time play. I don't think it's critical, but I think it should be considered when all else is equal.

I agree that Garrard deserves it more than Roethlisberger for a lot of the reasons that I think Welker deserves it more than TJ, particularly that they are both more productive than their respective counterparts.
