Ridiculous. That is totally out of character for BB. Never. He is not the type of guy to physically go after a player. Mentally go after a guy and get in his head yes but not physically.

Belichick clearly ran to his left and stepped in Harrison's way. He impeded Harrison's path back to the field of play. This is probably going to blow up big time.

Idiot. He believes the title over the evidence.

Someone should trip this joker so he can never write again.

The difference is that Brady calmly calls audibles while Manning flaps like a chicken, barks 11 code words, and makes sure every camera in the stadium has documented his once-in-a-generation (and patented, I believe) ability to see a defensive formation and change the play. Both have the same effect, but Manning transcends measurable human intellect while Brady merely chooses a different play.

FWIW, I might be wrong. My dad said he saw this earlier today on NFLN and ESPN and the guys were generally laughing at it. He said they were making differences between this instance and the Alosi instance because this one didn't seem to be a malicious act in which the coach was trying to hurt the player.

This "blew up" 6 years ago when it happened and was shown on the sports news. Certain people are just trying to create a myth of a double standard that isn't true, it's a way of taking the heat of the Jets, just like Westhoff tried to do.

The reason why he did it was because the Pats cornerback intercepted the pass and he didn't want Harrison possibly chasing down the returner - I love this guy.

My big question is, why are the Pats being dragged into this whole mess? How is a six-year-old video of Belichick impeding (or not) Marvin Harrison relevant to the Alosi incident?

"Trip?" Puh-leeze. He got in his way for a fraction of a second, spun away, and then came closer to taking out the ref than he did Harrison.

It looked more like the first day of practice on "Dancing with the Stars."

Christ, Jets, take your medicine like men.

Same way it's relevant that allllll those other teams were playing spy games, much more flagrantly than the Pats in many instances, and both the Dolphins and the Jets were doing so, in flagrant violation of the rules, prior to the Pats acting as the scapegoat.

"Everybody does it" didn't do the Pats much good.

Now Goodell's silence is deafening.

Or is that just what it looks like to me?

Ok, enough is enough. Felger is a real DB but he is not the total pats hater that so many people actually make him out to be. And since the Moss trade he has been in love with the team. Do you actually listen to his show? I have all week and he has not accused the Pats of anything. He did mention the blocking Harrison BUT in the context of how it is no big deal and this whole wall thing is blown way out of proportion.

Give the goddamn guy a break.
