Default Miami May Be Troy Brown's Last RS Game at Gillette. Bill: Send Out Our Rudy!!

It occurred to me that this may be Troy Brown's last season and this week's game will be the last chance for him to play, at home, for the regular season (our last game is @ the NY Giants).

Troy 'Old Reliable' Brown is an all time fan favorite, the ultimate team player who does anything and everything he is asked to do, with so many clutch and memorable plays for us, who took a pay cut to stay with the only team he has ever known...

Even though Troy might not have the most talent right now compared to the rest of our receiving corps, and while this goes against our coach's philosophy of coaching with heart/feeling, I really hope Bill Belichick plays Troy in some capacity against the Dolphins, so that fans can give him a proper send-off, if this does end up being his last season.

Rudy! Rudy! Rudy! I mean Troy! Troy! Troy!

Is there really any question that he will be activated this week?

I fully expect him to be in the game Sunday... And it's going to be BADASS!!! I cant wait!

Mike Reiss, in his chat yesterday, basically said it will happen - - it's a done deal.

I can't wait!

Oh, I don't know about that. Remember Testaverde's record-setting touchdown throw? Flutie's dropkick? BB has a strong record of making respectful/sentimental gestures toward veterans nearing the end of their careers. I'll bet they're practicing a couple of red-zone plays for Troy this week, hoping he'll be #22 on the TD parade.

There is absolutely NO WAY Troy isn't dressed for the Miami game. None. I hope he gets one of Brady's 5 TDs.

Now that IS good news. What play would be sweetest (don't say "80-yard bomb in overtime")?

Yes, Troy must play and he must catch a TD pass in the Miami game.

So let it be written, so let it be done!

In a perfect scenario, he would not only be the 22nd Patriot to score but the person to receive the 50th TD pass.

Maybe we can start a new slogan "Troy for 50", what do you think?
