Bam is a poor man's Welker/TBrown, not a Stallworth type, this is a role you would look to see Chad Jackson fill.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

No hates Bam he a is favorite on this board, doesn't mean he is going to fill a big role on this team.

I never said split out. I said Stallworth's "role". As in how they have used him in open space where he can make those nice moves ATC.

I could count on one hand the number of times Stallworth has been used as a "burner" this season. That is not where his value has been.

That's not a fair comparison.
He's also made it through waivers multiple times, which speaks volumes of how he is perceived league wide. I love watching the guy in pre season, but I grasp that has little to do with performance capacity in the regular season where vanilla defenses are replaced by schemes to take weapons away. Teams have to respect Stallworth both because of his track record and the flashes of YAC we've seen in spurts this season.

How do you think teams would play us if Randy were out for a couple of games and <insert player name here> was the #1...'cause that's what you all need to consider before you climb aboard the who needs Stallworth bandwaggon.

Gaffney is a great 4th WR and a decent #2 in a pinch - but he's not signed for 2008. Hopefully they will resign him, perhaps at Washington's expense. And Mr. Chad Jackson had a hard time making good ball handling decisions on the PR/KR team as a fill in last week. If he intends to continue the rest the regulars down the stretch, I wouldn't be surprised to see old reliable activated this week to handle return duties.

They can afford to keep Moss and Stallworth and Welker and Gaffney in tact for at least a couple of seasons. They do as much to lighten the load on D as any FA acquisition they could plug in for the money. The D is more about scheme with sufficient talent. This offense is about talent vs. any scheme.

That doesn't even make sense. Stallworth has played the flanker all season. Childress doesn't. End of story.

Anyone think Santonio Thomas could come up next season and fill the Junior Seau type role? Not the Sam linebacker, obviously, and I know he's not as fast, but he seems like he'd be a good run stuffer in our defense.

Ohhhhhhh Bam Childress...

Sam Cunningham is already being drafted elsewhere on the board for Maroney's job.

I don't think he has enough talent but Chad Jackson may, just needs to stay healthy.
