Don't know why the Patriots stopped using the defense where Arrington was playing LOLB. Seemed effective. Cunningham doing nothing

It was all dog-faking for when Cunningham came in and forced that pick

I think it was one play, and as a disguise they ran a corner blitz with the corner in a 3 point stance.
Did anyone see it more than once?

I did as well (minimum of twice), except, he was lined up as a DE. Clearly he was going to rush the QB from the get-go. My thought was he was in the fourth quarter position they used Crable for. Fast player to account for.

From that position he could've picked up the back or rush.

I didn't think he was that effective though - OTOH, maybe Manning audibled out of a flat pass. Interesting.

Also, Manning exploited the hell out of this on that 35 yards draw. It was a good call.

I think he had pressure on the McCourty pick, probably caused it because Manning would have seen him break off the route if he had more time.

In the post-game press conference, Eric Scalavino asked Belichick:
You seemed to have Arrington at the line of scrimmage a lot in the second-half -- was that an adjustment?
Belichick's response was:
That was planned. We don't just draw them up in the dirt.

So, apparently significant enough that it was part of the game plan.

He lined up at DE on that McCourty INT. He then came back out on the next defensive series and played DE the entire TD drive by the Colts. Colts ran a few draws on his side and he got totally abused. He couldn't do much rushing Manning as well. I believe he also was out on the next defensive series at DE for a few plays.

Then on the next defensive series, Cunningham was back out.

This was so bizarre.
