Default The Unsung Hero

Someone people are overlooking far too quickly; the Crumpler. This dude is having massive games blocking, how many teams run even partially effectively on the Steelers? Not many, but last night he did a lot to help us, and the entire season blocking. This guy, for both his offfield demeanor and leadership with taking the two rookies under his wing. I wouldn't object for him to hang around on a fair deal a while longer.

Some of us don't overlook the value of captain Crumpler.

Crump is a beast & a total pro, what a great addition. We heard about how he spoke to Gronk about putting last week behind him. Well, that worked.

He also made a snazzy one-handed catch on the first play of the game, which, honestly, can't be understated. Our slow starts have held us back. (I think a Pittsburgh defender was holding his other hand.)

You can really tell how much BB and TB love this guy.

I just think he's an undervalued player among fans. He's been great this year.

No, not really. Dude is definitely a contributor, and tons of people recognize that.

Brady stays clean for the whole game and BJGE goes for nearly 5 ypc on the road against the #1 defense in the league. Crumpler played a huge part of that.

Also have to mention Wilfork. Listed as having 1 solo tackle but that doesn't come close to measuring his impact. Look at the big plays in the game and you will see Wilfork in the backfield taking multiple blockers with him. Wright and TBC got the glory, but Wilfork was the man is this game. Just awesome.
