I think the real thread question is should ESPN keep Tony Kornhole. He really belongs on the black hole of fox sports. The guy is just out there to annoy everyone at some point or another.

I like Kornholer, generally, but I don't like three in the booth. You put three men in the booth and it seems to become less structured and more joking. I want insightful analysis and Jaws could provide that with a good play-by-play man, if he wasn't yucking it up all the time with the other two jokesters.

Kornheiser is a liar.

He makes up BS stuff. He's saying at the outset something to the effect that the Patriots can't believe that the Ravens were hanging with them. Crazy stuff made up out of the air and spoken as if truth.

His Easterbrook-esqe intro about Belichick was a total case of mailing it in.

What a f'n blowhard and a liar and fabricator, at that.

He is simply a grubby salesman and is always searching for "the story", a mindset that goes back to his columnist days.

I say "yes", unless they can find a way of re-cycling him without damage to the environment.

No this is not a good gig for him. let him have his PTI and guest appearances and maybe even a radio show but not MNF. I had to laugh when during the post game they went to the MNF crew and Tony (sitting in thew middle) just looked stupified. he had a "what the heck am i doing here " look on his face. I don't mind the guy, and honestly kind of like him as a personality, but not MNF.

And yet he's still funnier than Dennis Miller, who somehow turned into just another angry prick around 9-11-01.

He starts talking about the Ravens upsetting the Pats early in the 1st quarter with Baltimore only up 7-3

Don't you thin k this a-shole should wait till at least the end of the 3rd quarter to start talking about it?
