What's the big deal? We got absolutely CRUSHED by a team that was 2-5, harassed a rookie quarterback making his second start into only 5 incompletions, and allowed 185 yards rushing and 2 TD's when our defense was clearly geared up to stop the run. On top of that, our quarterback was missing wide open receivers all day and our primary running back once again looks totally inept. If it was just a loss, that would be one thing. But a 20 point blowout loss to a team that was three games under .500 is another thing entirely.

Guess what, the Browns are better than their record. AND THEY BEAT THE SAINTS, who then went on to beat the Steelers. Does this not matter for some reason? Are you just ignoring that because you can't let it into your pathetic world view that the Pats are the worst team in football?

Any legitimate 6-1 team executing like a 6-1 team should have easily been able to shut that offense down. The issues on defense, which have been masked the last couple of games, came home to roost today. And please show me where I've openly thought that this was the worst team in football. I would love to see that.

1. The Browns emptied the bag of tricks completely out in that game. So much so that they only had one for us. Multiple scores born out of multiple trick plays and Brees made some uncharacteristically bad decisions.

2. The Saints have been the very definition of Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde in the NFL this season, as was displayed in that game.

3. When did I call the Pats or Browns terrible? The Browns aren't terrible, but let's not fool ourselves into thinking that they're good.

4. Still waiting on the evidence to be presented showing me where I called the Pats the worst team in football.

But, of course, I hope that the Pats are the worst team in football. Of course I would gear all of my posts to such a slant. Hell, I only have 14,800 posts on here. I'm CLEARLY rooting against the team.

I guess while the haters are allowed any level of hyperbole I am not allowed even a little bit.

The patriots were 6-1 with a good reason on being that in several games the other teams were making mistakes on special teams and turnovers...take away STs and less turnovers by those teams and this team could be much worse record wise.

The browns limited mistakes and they won,if this team has to rely on other teams to cough up the ball to cover up the defenses problem of giving up big yardage and the offense sputtering, they could be in for a very rough second half.

Good teams usually clean up mistakes made early in the season and are better in that area as the season progresses...since NE plays against some pretty good teams ahead,it spells trouble.

It's the fact the Patriots should be improving as the season wears on. The New England Patriots as a team regressed today in all phases of the game against a third string rookie quarterback.
