I'm rootin' for the Jets and the Dolphins.

My dream scenario:

1) Pats go undefeated.

2) Roger Goodell has to hand the Vince Lomardi trophy to Bill Belichick.

3) In April, Roger Goodell has to throw up in his mouth a little bit and say, "With the first overall pick in the NFL draft, the New England Patriots select....."

Sorry Aqua, I don't feel its ludicrous for anyone on this Pats board to not have the level of respect, you deem warrented, for any of your Phins players. Why don't you chastise your fellow Phin fans?

Why?

Pats fans want the 49ers to have the worst record in the league so we get the #1 overall pick in the 2008 draft (San Frans' traded to New England)
I think we need to be a little careful what we wish for. Due to the rookie salary structure, the number 1 pick in the draft is not all its cracked up to be. Look at last year. Oakland had to shell out a 30 million dollar signing bonus to JaMarcus Russell. Look at the money that San Fran is paying Alex Smith. The amount of money that teams have to shell out, diminishes the value of this pick and there is no garauntee there will be other teams eager to trade up. I don't think there is any rookie in the draft that the Patriots orgainization is willing to pay that kind of money to.

Maybe they'll draft a projected 2nd round LBer with the high pick causing Goodell to spontaneously combust.

He's good at everything and carries an exceptional arm and even better accuracy. He surprised me with his mobilty last week and disapointed me a little on his ability to make throws under duress. All and all, he'll be just fine.

I'll bet that in a year or two we'll see Aqua Boy in the middle of a Glenn Beck interview looking like this...
