Default How Tony Dungy could finally outdo Belichick

Imagine with me, dear readers...

It's the week leading up to the AFC Championship game between the Colts and the heavily favored Patriots. Bob Sanders has been lost for the season and New England demolished their opponents in the divisional round. It's looking bleak for Indy, when Tony Dungy announces that he will come out of retirement to take over as the starting safety. Imagine the headlines!

Of course he'd get laid out on the first play from scrimmage and the Colts would lose by 3 TD's, but it would still cement Dungy's reputation as a saint among football coaches.

Saints don't die, they ascend. After he got decked he would ascend right in front of the crowd. As he floated up with angels around him and trumpets trumpeting he could deliver some inspiring speech about playing the game fair, like him, like the ascended master.

And then we could all shout in unison, "Buh bye, Tony, don't let the door hit you on the ass."

I'll be glad when Dungy retires after this year. He contemplated doing it last year but now that he's watched his team become a MASH unit he'll think that God is sending him a message.

If God can heal TO's leg for the Super Bowl then who knows...

I don't think he can even do that even if he tries. And if he tries to Kraft and Belichick better object and have the refs stop him. If he gets away with this I am going to be pissed!

Stop him, hardly. The refs all report to Pope Polian, they know better them to cross him or it's excommunication and a one way ticket to hell.

Can we canonize Pope Polian? By that I mean we stick him in a cannon and see how far we can shoot him.

As long as we don't stick a cannon in him. Saint Tony does not approve of that sort of activity, especially if two men are involved.
