Default Philly accepting whats going to happpen

Ive been down here for 13 years and this is the first time I can remeber no one talking trash about the pats. 95% of the callers into talk radio relize the eagles have no chance witch is odd because there such homers here and really the only debate is weather the pats will cover. Also Most of the sports media has a lot of respect for what the patriots are doing.

Isn't Philadelphia's sports media a combination of the viciousness of New York's sports media and the quiet, disillusioned pessimism that has to belong to Cleveland?

My favorite comment was the guy who compared it to getting in trouble at school. At least for us 40somethings. You knew when you got home the beating you were going to get from your dad was going to be worse that what they dished out at school. You weren't looking forward to it at all. But, you knew what was going to happen. Now, parents blame the teachers when their kids get in trouble. So, they probably don't know what I'm talking about.
The Eagles have just gotten a poor report card. And, now they are going to suffer the consequences.

I agree. Imagine how the Jets feel. They have to watch other teams get punished first, knowing they are going to get the worst of it all.

If you read what some of those losers are saying on Jetsinsider, you would see that they are expecting a Jets upset and that Kellen Clemmens is going to have a career day against us.

Thats exactly how media is down here. You have to have a thick skin to play in philly but I cant really blame them your talking about a city with four pro teams and they havnt won a championship twenty something years.
