Default What will the NFL do about the pats

If we win the superbowl then come back stronger next year. Brady will have had a whole year and a another camp to gel with Moss and co. Morris will be back.

We have the SECOND pick in the draft right now that will surely be turned into a slew of 2008 and 2009 picks.

We can restock this roster and come out stronger then ever. The core of the team is locked up and young ( the lines)

Will the NFL have to do something? Will we be punished for simply being better than everyone else at drafting and free agency? Will the NFL have to step in and help the idiots who cannot run there teams?

Funny thing is the pats dominate in a salery capped sport. They are just better then everyone else.

Edit I know the colts are good to , but this year lack of depth finally caught up to them. The pats can still win with injury.

They've done what they can already, we should have another #1 on top of that. Nothing they can do short of colluding not to trade with us and making us use the top five pick. Not that that's a horrible thing for us but the other teams could limit our options.

Oye.

The NFL will do something if we give them an excuse. If the Pats stay clean there's nothing they can do. The NFL might come down harder on the Pats than on another team for a similar infraction, but they still need an infraction to begin with. They can't just say, "We're going to dock them a draft pick for being so good."

This is all a temporary situation. Everything changes including Good Things. Enjoy the Pats today. Tomorrow Brady could get offed by a jealous SuperModel, Moss could sign with the Jets, and Belicheck could join a monastery.

I agree. What I am saying is use backhanded tactics. Like officiating and encouraging other teams not let us ransack them out of there best player for nothing.

The NFL can and HAS changed the rules. Don't underestimate the tireless diabolical Polian who will use every bit of his influence to gain special advantage for the Colts and disadvantage for the Pats. Belioli need to stay flexible. And Kraft needs to lobby for the competition committe posts to expire and rotate.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH
