This thread will be used to settle the debate over the value of statistics vs. football knowledge in a "Test" involving the predictions of each weeks games between Makewayhomer and PatriotsReign.

So MWH, my understanding of the rules is that we are to post our predictions vs. the CBS sportline (I'm ok with that) spread on Wednesday of each week and then tally our totals each week and then run a cumulative total moving forward. If there is anything you want to add, please feel free.

Since I am not very familiar with the CBS sportsline spreads, you can post them here each Wednesday morning or earlier.

The contest will begin with the games beginning 11/22/07 or Thanksgiving.

also, the loser will donate $50 to the charity of choice of the winner.

As I discussed on the thread your arrogant thread, "Concepts some posters could benefit from learning", I am withdrawing from our proposed "contest".

I read through most of your post history and saw that you have consistently posted with an arrogance and pompous tone since the day you joined this site. I challenge anyone here to do read through your posts to make up their own minds.

You would be the only one who would gain from this contest and the last thing this board needs is the chance of you becoming more righteous than you already are.

Maybe there is someone else who would like to take my place but my hope is that everyone else will see this for what it is...an opportunity for YOU. And brother, you just don't deserve one!

One week of predictions isn't going to prove anything. It's called a small sample size. If you really want to do something interesting, pick over the course of the remainder of the season.
