When that little white dude in a Pats jersey took his first hand-off, everyone in the bar was looking around thinking they had just hallucinated.... after we all figured it out, someone said it looks like the Pats suited up their accountant to be the replacement for Faulk. From then on, we just called him "the accountant"

He is not a rookie. It is his second year. Although he rushed for almost as many yards yesterday as he did in a year with the Jets.

And 312 rushing yards, 217 receving yards and 4 touchdowns later, the bandwagon is rolling along quite rapidly.

I'm amazed at how quickly he's learned the system and contributed for us. And if you listen to him talk during press conferences, you think, this guy was born to be a Patriot.

On the downside, I could see Faulk not having a roster spot next season. Woody has done such a great job and BB is not the sentimental type. I think it would be tough, but I think Woody's our guy moving forward.

I agree. As sad as I would be to see Faulk leave the team, it would probably be in our best interest. It's funny because when I heard about the Patriots picking this guy up my intitial reaction was "Who the heck is that guy?". I am so happy with this pickup and how well it turned out because losing Faulk was such a blow to our already banged up and mediocre RB crew. BJGE has also looked very good this season.

Kevin Faulk will turn 35 years old prior to the start of the 2011 NFL Season. Danny Woodhead is here to stay.
