So good to finally have the media addressing the very issues some of us have been tallking about with Brady's game since last year
He's simply not the same QB since '07.

Trade him now. Get O'Brien a QB who he can trust before it's too late.

Or maybe if Brady is forced to confront that he's a part of the problem he can get to work on being part of the solution, that's assuming Brady is not infallible.

Nope he's old and over the hill, fame got to his head. Time to cut him loose.

That's the hope. Tom's a smart guy. Now we're going to see whether he's a stubborn guy.

Okay, so it took them a year. They do have it right now. Many posters don't think that we have a problem even now.

ESPN must have got the idea from visiting this site, since there were two lengthy threads on the subject at the top of the first page the last couple of days.

Given the subject matter on some of the other threads this week, I can't wait to hear what else they report between now and Sunday.

2002-2008 Patriots when leading at the half. 66-1
2009- present Patriots when leading at the half. 9-5

The obvious answer to why the dramatic drop?

Easy....the loss of veteran leaders and the lack of defensive playmakers drafted from 2006- 2008

The 3 years of putrid defensive draft picks eroded this team to the defensive level we see today, not to forget the loss of some talented defenders.....those years we missed out on talent on the defensive side would have been the leaders on defense today but since virtually no player was any good drafted during those years we suffer right now with a mediocre defense

The only real half decent defensive player during those years drafted was Meriweather, but even he is in Bill's doghouse now
