Remember the Snow Bowl? Brady threw for over 300 yards. AFC championship game in 2004... bombs away to Branch. Tennessee playoff game? Bethel to the house.
I don't understand why people think Brady won't throw as much when it gets cold. The evidence doesn't support it.

The Niners pass-happy WCO continued to play well when they traveled to cold weather cities, FWIW.

It's not the cold....
It's not the snow....
It could be a heavy rain combined with cold temperatues that will inhibit a passing a game....
But, most of all - it is the wind that plays havoc with the thrown football.

And clearly, according to Colts fans, this wind will affect Brady far more than Manning. Because the evidence doesn't show pretty conclusively that the opposite is true or anything...

We all know that Polian sets things up, even in Foxboro, so that the wind only blows when Brady has the ball.
It is an unfair advantage for the Colts.
He accomplishes this feat every time he open his damn mouth - LOL!

I agree, I think it is laughable listening to Colts fans talk about how the weather is going to effect the Pats more than the Colts. Based on what? Addais' first half of last game? Brady plays in the cold all the time (once winter rolls around...lol) Manning hardly ever does, and as another poster points out, its not like Mannign has a huge body of wrok showing he an play in bad weather.

Agreed,
I saw nothing in that game that makes me think the Colts are any more suited to bad weather than the Patriots. The colts are as a good a team as the Pats have faced but it seems to me that the colts and their supporters have been doing a lot of crowing about team speed. The first thing to be negated in the bad weather is speed.
Addai is pretty impressive but I'm hardly about to run up the white flag over gillette in bad weather. lol

I think if the wind is blowing, from a physics standpoint, that the person with the stronger arm, (thus creating more velocity), will be less effected by the wind. The difference could be marginal,(deep balls), but the advantage to stronger armed qb will be seen on quick outs to mid-ranged ball (less than 20 yards).

Take a look at the Titans game in 2004.
Brady launched that thing from around the 50 and Bethel caught it around the 10.

Woo-hoo! Second Team baby!
the cold will favor the pats. you dont just go and play in the cold from a dome and play like normal. colts play all but one of last 6 games in domes. it is something that moss and co will be getting used to . the colts have always had a good runing game and short pass offence...with big play thrown in. the pats have always worse running attack...except maybe when cory had 1 good year. so nothing has changed. except Brady has good wr's now.
