Respects,
I never understood why so many pats fans turned on Bledsoe....

I will give you that he isn't Brady but nobody is Brady.

Bledsoes last few years with the Bills and the boys were a bit of a mess. He lost the little manuverability he once had. If you remember in his prime he was described as a cigar store indian. Still with protection, a great pocket passer, one of the best throwing the intermediate routes I have ever seen.

He was a gutsy young QB for pats fans for many years-remember the second half comeback against the Vikings? I think it was his first or second year. we were pretty excited to have him.

Anyway good luck to him.

Hey now! I'll have you know that we Montanans have C-ment sidewalks,
E-lectricity and indoor water closets.

Also, because the guy took at least 20 years off my life, if I ever see Bledsoe, I'm corking him in the head with a snowball!

For some of the same reasons many fans in Philadelphia have turned on McNabb. When you are one of the most highly touted and highly paid QBs in the league, if you just can't get the job done fans turn on you eventually.

Bledsoe was a #1 pick overall and was as highly paid for his prime as Peyton Manning is now. He got the Patriots to one SB and otherwise didn't do much, with many disappointing games. He was a sitting duck not only for defensive linemen but also for critics.

Sadly, there are a lot of idiots out there, that's why. Bledsoe is the second best quarterback in the team's history, but he had the misfortune to precede the best quarterback in team history and, possibly, the best quarterback of all time. That seems to have been an unpardonable crime

Drew is the one trying to catch the fish now. He's not the fish any more.

Yep, it's hard to imagine anybody hating his job that much, but what the hell, it was good money while it lasted.

I love Montana, but I wouldn't want to live there. It's so wild there. Ten minutes out of any town you can encounter bears, etc.

I remember Tony Eason, and I thank God for Drew Bledsoe. If Parcells chose Rick Mirer over Bledsoe the Pats would still be fighting for last place. Bledsoe's biggest crime was putting too much on himself. And if Parcells wasn't conspiring with the Jets right before the Superbowl, Bledsoe would have led the Patriots to victory.

It's really ridiculous.
Without Bledsoe, there's no Belichick, there's likely no Brady, there's no Gillette Stadium, and the Patriots would be playing their home games in Hartford. Also, there's no SB in 2001-02

As good as Brady's been, he still hasn't gotten to Bledsoe's team records yet.

Didn't do much? That's a ridiculously unfair claim.
Did you WATCH him play? Without Bledsoe, you're rooting for the Hartford Patriots.
